The 2019 farmers market season has kicked off and will operate weekly in both Riverside and Brookfield into the fall.
The Riverside Farmers Market kicks off its 10th year on June 5 and will run every Wednesday from 2:30 to 7 p.m. through Oct. 9 in Centennial Park at Longcommon Road and Forest Avenue.
Visit new vendors as well as longtime favorites. The market features fruits and vegetables, smoothies, breads, cookies and scones, eggs, meat, fish, honey, hot entrees, vegan and gluten-free treats, a knife sharpener, live music and more.

Meanwhile, the Brookfield Farmers Market continues its 2019 season on June 8 and every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Oct. 12 in the parking lot of the Brookfield Village Hall, 8820 Brookfield Ave.
Buy locally and sustainably grown fruits and veggies from Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Michigan, along with pastries, eggs, fresh-roasted coffee, artisan goods, honey, salsas, jams, BBQ and more.
